Support:
The North American-based phone agents at GoDaddy actually listen to customers and understanding what they need. They're also pretty good at resolving issues and communicating with customers. Wait times were short, usually 2 minutes or less. We had great experiences with chat agents as well. GoDaddy offers 24/7 phone, chat and online/email support. The online interface is a little awkward, but certainly usable once you get used to it.
Overall, we found GoDaddy suppor to be quick and friendly, easily able to answer common questions.

Control Panel:
The tools that GoDaddy offers are easy-to-use and consistently improving. In the last year, they've launched a fantastic file manager and have been incorporating more user interface standards into each of their tools. It's clear they test their interfaces for usability and they actively solicit customer feedback. Their main control panel is an in-house modified version of cPanel, which is the most popular web hosting control panel in the industry. Their version of cPanel makes modifying any aspect of your website account quick and easy. From adding domains, e-mails, databases, 1-click WordPress installation, or over 150+ website apps, no other control panel platform is easier to use, to date.
Given the robust offering of the GoDaddy suite of services, the homepage of the control panel can be a little overwhelming, but stick to your nav bar and you'll be fine. The control panel can also be a little slow around mid-day, but not so slow that it became unusable, during our tests.
What sets them apart?
"Faster, Safer, Greener Hosting" - iPage |
Incorporates the SiteLock Security Suite and Seal at no extra cost. |
You'll talk to agents located in North America, and get them on the phone in less than 2 minutes. |
Your website will be eco-friendly, and hosting is powered by 100% wind energy! |
Summary:
If you put a high value on security and want to create an effective website quickly, you're going to want to give GoDaddy a closer look. Not only is their web host offering robust and affordable, it's clear they've taken the time to understand their customers needs and they're constantly working to address those needs.
While they may be a little aggressive in marketing their extras, they really do offer an incredibly diverse and valuable suite of services. They also over many pricing specials, which make their extras seem well worth the added expense. That said, check out GoDaddy today, to see their outstanding web hosting plans.

GoDaddy review
Review by: Bruce from Palm Springs, on November 7th
If they had more features, I would rate them even better, but I still recommend them as they are both reliable and low cost. If you have a relatively simple site, you will be pleased with them.

Top on the list
Review by: Max H. from Illinois, on November 4th
Out of the other hosts listed on this site, I know and have dealt with a few. Not sure why they made on, but I can say that iPage is very good for the price. We had an issue with folder permissions of some sort and tech had it fixed within a few minutes. Support chat is almost instantly online also.

Raised price, but still good value
Review by: Garth from USA, on November 1st
We got on with them at the lower price, (2.95 vs. 4.50) but are still a great host for the money. With cheap hosts like this you can't expect miracles, but overall well well worth it.

Good but...
Review by: Vinny from Newark, on October 26th
Had a little bit of an issue with getting the database running right. The customer service fixed it, but was a little slow at it and weren't as courteous as I would have liked. But they did fix it and everything else is really good with these guys. Recommend.

Dont let the cheap price scare you away...
Review by: Hilda from NYC area, on October 21st
I started out with a very large well known hosting company. The price was a lot more than iPage, like 10x and yes the support was good. But, the problem was when you used a lot of the server resources, they would slow your site down. Also server speed was not that fast, compared to others. Anyways, I switched to iPage and for around 1/10 the price, I get the same features and quotas, great support and my site loads just as fast or faster than the much more expensive host. I would say to give them a try and not be afraid of the low price...

You get what you pay for!
Review by: www.mydiscountman.com from USA, on October 19th
I've been with this site for about 2 months. We are on day two of a full site outage and they expect another 2-3 days. The customer service is good, but they do a lot of butt kissing. The Cpanel is easy to use. And they are usually reasonable in their timing to resolve small problems. If they were a more responsible business, then they would have 3-5 backbones from multiple providers to ensure uptime.
Botton line, regardless of being cheap and easy to use, uptime is number one. If your site is down, you are not making money. Period. Also, you look undependable to your audience.

Review by: Patricia from USA, on October 13th
Into thinking that for the price the service won't be as desired. I have a tiny site, but its always available and support is always fast to help. For smaller sites I can definitely recommend them...

Generally a good choice
Review by: Rebecca from Gary, IN., on October 6th
We looked for a weeks for a host that would be both low price and suit our needs for an ecommerce site. They suit our site fine. The only possible gripe is the unlimited bandwidth, which no host can honor. But we would refer them to a friend.
