Support:
The North American-based phone agents at GoDaddy actually listen to customers and understanding what they need. They're also pretty good at resolving issues and communicating with customers. Wait times were short, usually 2 minutes or less. We had great experiences with chat agents as well. GoDaddy offers 24/7 phone, chat and online/email support. The online interface is a little awkward, but certainly usable once you get used to it.
Overall, we found GoDaddy suppor to be quick and friendly, easily able to answer common questions.

Control Panel:
The tools that GoDaddy offers are easy-to-use and consistently improving. In the last year, they've launched a fantastic file manager and have been incorporating more user interface standards into each of their tools. It's clear they test their interfaces for usability and they actively solicit customer feedback. Their main control panel is an in-house modified version of cPanel, which is the most popular web hosting control panel in the industry. Their version of cPanel makes modifying any aspect of your website account quick and easy. From adding domains, e-mails, databases, 1-click WordPress installation, or over 150+ website apps, no other control panel platform is easier to use, to date.
Given the robust offering of the GoDaddy suite of services, the homepage of the control panel can be a little overwhelming, but stick to your nav bar and you'll be fine. The control panel can also be a little slow around mid-day, but not so slow that it became unusable, during our tests.
What sets them apart?
"Faster, Safer, Greener Hosting" - iPage |
Incorporates the SiteLock Security Suite and Seal at no extra cost. |
You'll talk to agents located in North America, and get them on the phone in less than 2 minutes. |
Your website will be eco-friendly, and hosting is powered by 100% wind energy! |
Summary:
If you put a high value on security and want to create an effective website quickly, you're going to want to give GoDaddy a closer look. Not only is their web host offering robust and affordable, it's clear they've taken the time to understand their customers needs and they're constantly working to address those needs.
While they may be a little aggressive in marketing their extras, they really do offer an incredibly diverse and valuable suite of services. They also over many pricing specials, which make their extras seem well worth the added expense. That said, check out GoDaddy today, to see their outstanding web hosting plans.

For our site, iPage fits the bill fine. Can't beat the price and they don't raise it on you like a lot of the other hosts after a short while. What you see is what you get. IMHO you can't really go wrong for small to medium size sites.

HORRIBLE! COST OUR BUSINESS MONEY!
Review by: Jessica from Charleston, South Carolin, on March 21st
Had this for a year+ now & have had many issues. ipage cannot always seem to get emails to our clients, or explain why. Ppl call to see why we did not email them, other times were not even aware that it isnt sending. Ipage offered a free yr subscription to make up for it, GREAT another year of unreliable service! Will be moving our business, not even worth having this 4 free! They asked 4 emails not going through, & we gave the info, they just said: email has been tested & is working fine; a circle of evaded questions until we finally give up, since you cant get a straight answer.

No issues to speak of, compared with dealings with others hosts. They recently raised their price a little I see, but still well worth it. Recommend.

Review by: Javier from Port Charlotte, FL, on March 4th
They have a good thing going for cheap. Pages load very quick and plenty of storage space as you can see. Wish they offered a couple more features for free, but for the price, I guess I'm not entitled to complain too much. Recommend...

Good cheap host
Review by: Ashley from Montpelier, VT, on March 2nd
Support has been satisfactory for me. Short wait times and my questions were answered. For 4.25 a month you can't really expect a bed of roses, can you? I would go with them again, so.

They would never help
Review by: Roger Mace from Tampa, FL, on March 1st
Technical support for this site is only good if you are an internet nerd. Those of us who are technically challenged cannot get a straight answer to a single question. They have the tools you need but they don't support any of them. I wanted to upload templates to edit, they couldn't help. I asked for assistance with WordPress they would only say they didn't support WordPress. How the rest of the services work I don't know. After trying to get a web presence for two weeks through iPage I just decided to give up and find another hosting service.

Good for most smaller sites...
Review by: Greggie from Detroit, on March 1st
Ipage is a great cheap and reliable host, as we have been with them for over 6 months. My only caveat is they aren't really for larger or resource intensive sites, as much as they are for sites that don't require as much scripting. As your site gets larger, you will either need to upgrade or more to a different host. But for the price and a new site, you can't lose...

Review by: Tyson from Washington, on February 23rd
I've been with ipage now for over a year, so I can say I've been there done that. I can say from experience that they are a large, reputable host and support and customer service is very good. They will try to offer you more addons for more $$, but I guess they have to make up for the cheap prices somehow. Go for it!
